Crossing parts from the SR parts manual #'s

Hi, I am trying to find a various parts for my 2003 380DA (diesels) and started at the Searay parts manual (below), but now wondering if anyone knows how to cross the Searay #'s to the OEM that actually built the part.

The parts I need right now are the white plastic bilge blower hose ends called out in item 27 on page 3. There are 2 on each side of the boat and assume they are the 791749.

I also need a tachometer which is Searay # 1291525.

These #'s are inside the #27 callout but not sure which ones = the plastic blower hose ends that screw to the hull:

In my experience, the only way to get this information is from Sea Ray customer service unless the part has a manufacturer name on it. It has also been my experience that Sea Ray customer service will give you the OEM Manufacturer Name and OEM Part number. Whether they will do this or not sometimes depends on if it is still a valid Sea Ray inventory part.

Thanks Jason. I have tried our local SR dealer's parts counter and they aren't interested. Do you have a SR direct contact that could cross/quote the SR #'s?

There is no cross reference to get where you want to go. The SR part number in the parts manual is an internal inventory number and is useless to anyone outside of SR other than aas a reference for dealers and SR customer service.

Sea Ray has franchise agreements with their dealers that govern parts sales as well as OEM vendors re: the sale of parts directly and around the SR dealer network. Generally, those policies and agreements lapse after a boat is about 5 years old. You can get the OEM vendor from SR customer service if the part is listed as NA on their internal inventory system. Sea Ray wants you to be happy with your boat but their dealers are charged with the responsibility of interfacing with the customer for parts and service. If you just are looking for a way to get the parts cheaper than thru the dealer system, then you won't get much help. However, there are situations where the local dealers are a dismal failure in supporting customers. If you have one of those situations, then customer service will help.

One other point........many of us have been at this for a long time and know the boats almost as well as the guys at SR. If you can't find what you need, post a question here and somebody has probably already been down that road and has a ready answer.

For example, the bilge blower hose is most likely Attwood. Here is a link to a vendor (whom I do not know) to get you started:

Sea Ray tachs are made by Teleflex. Exact replacements are available at your local dealer for about $175 ea. If you have no relationship with a local dealer, you might want to work on that. The local SR parts guy can be a great friend to cultivate. If you want to order one, I can get you in touch with the best SR parts guy in captivity, who happens to be in Panama City Beach.
