Crazy Tuna - new owners

They have never rafted anyone off of me without permission. During busy times they ask if its ok. I have never declined and had no issues. Actually met some nice folks that way.
Agreed if ask, I got the impression that people just pull up and do it. Haven’t encountered it myself.

We always had a raft up rule at Fairlee. Anyone could raft up, but you crossed boat to boat on swim platforms. You never climbed across cockpits unless invited.

I had a bad experience with someone not coming across our swim platform, came into the cockpit, walked on seats to get to their boat.

So we went to Sunset Cove yesterday. Verdict, go early, open at 11. We arrived 11:30, second boat on floater. Got seats at tiki bar. By noon pier was full and standing room only at bar. Boats rafted off but appeared to only be boats that know each other. Nobody tried tie to me. It’s always enjoyable to see a 21’ bow rider with 12 people aboard. Had good time.

Oh, another thing, saw a bunch of boats that came in, tied to floater and never got off boat. Especially the trophy girls and I don’t mean boat brand. The bar should enforce rules. Ain’t right the taking up space.

Tuna no longer has bottle beer, found out this week, and I hate cans, so even though it’s close and I love the place, we moving on to Sunset Cove.

I’m gonna try Carsons. I hear they have amazing crab cakes and willing to find out :)
