crazy question re counter rotation...

Is there a resource somewhere or some method to determine which leg should rotate in which direction on my vessel? I contacted Mercury and based on my serial numbers they gave me the part number for the lowers but couldn't tell which should be on which leg...

Ie - looking at the stern of the boat from ashore, which prop should turn in which direction? Thx

props turn towards the outboard sides of the boat in forward (with the exception being the go-fast guys, they rotate inward)

So, port side is your CR (left hand prop) and and starboard is standard.
