My shower sump box has a crack and leaked into the Mid stateroom sump who's pump crapped out, so now I have water to clean up.
Has anyone repaired a crack in the box? (LOL) What kind of plastic is it? If it's PVC, it should be easy.

I might suggest that if it's original from 2000, it's done it's duty and time to replace. The plastic may be brittle and continue to fail. A new one with the pump and float isn't too expensive, options under $150.

Ditto, get a new box, and pump, and float while you are at it. Heat shrink the wire connections.

I think that's my plan. Found a new Rule on ebay for $151.
Great idea. The newer design improves the lid. On the old design the lid was held on with 4 screws and could be a real PITA to remove. The newer on has snap-on latches.
