CPAP vs Inspire implant

Re: the hose, my head gear routes it over the top of my head. it them drapes across the pillow and the the side table. That really helps prevent tangles vs if it were attached at the bottom. I sleep on the left side, but I can still roll over with near zero tangles.

Looks like this (google image)

Pro tip: to keep Your cpap gear tidy, out of sight, and off the floor when not in use, stick a Command Strip hook on the side of your bedside table and hang the mask from it. Out of sight, and the hook can easily be removed in the future.

Very similar set up, for the people that struggle to use it. It def took me a while, here is my last 3 reports. It tracks your episodes, to go from 60-65 to almost none is amazing to me

Great idea and damn where you get the phone charger thing. I look for mine on the floor every night.
Damn right about the cord thing! It has magnets that fit on the cord and click on the base. I wish I could tell you; it was a gift from virtual conference I attended during COVID (NASPO). The best conference gift I've ever gotten!

Here is a tip for you guys that have the Resmed AirSense units. You can alter the programming max pressure to be just slightly above your normal pressure. Then if you get a minor air leak from shifting in bed, the machine won’t pressurize up to 20 and create a massive loud air jet that wakes you up. Watch this video. I did it after seeing this and it works great.

Game changer for me was a hose holder:
View attachment 155092It has a clamp that will adapt to bed frame, night stand shelf or most anything with a little surface area. $40 on Amazon.
This makes all the difference in the world! My hose is routed over the large headboard that does the same things also, the water/humidity doesn’t get trapped in the hose…..

Have you replaced the tank, I do mine every 6-9 months
I have. No real change. The gasket I'm referring to is actually on the machine. When it does make noise I can change it by applying pressure to the tank. It seems to help if I slam the tank on after refilling it.
