So now we are trying to talk down to people? Sure seems like that's what you are trying to do here. Fit's the democrats agenda though. Either way, I never stated that they aren't allowed to vote under law, I simply stated that the ones with the most skin in the game get the least representation. The democrats have made the lower class so dependent on gov't that they are guaranteed to get their vote. Same thing that Harris will try to do. They are going to try to financially ruin peoples lives so they are then reliant on gov't. Once they accomplish that then they control us. Hmmm....seems there have been a few countries that have been down this road. They are now considered 3rd world nations.

Careful there. I posted several weeks ago about inaccurate COVID numbers and was told there is no way that would ever happen because of the repercussions and penalties. Yep, hospital administrators have never bent the rules. Must be the most honest people on the planet

Why do you hate Biden for acknowledging the seriousness of COVID-19 and trying to do something about it? Your emperor with no clothes tried to tell you it was nothing and would be gone shortly, created and supported a whole denial movement that you guys bought into. What is so hateful about him trying to do something? If you don't like what COVID has done to the US, you cannot seek to blame Biden. And by the way I don't blame Trump either. Its a virus that is very hard to try to control. You guys in the US have had it the worst of most countries up to this point, but wave 2 is knocking the shit out of health care everywhere in the world. The fault is not really Trump. Lets see if Biden or his press secretary ban Psaki from news conferences. I will bet you they won't.

And I think everyone cares about the 400,000 plus Americans that died from COVID, and the hundreds of thousands that will die. And the well over 2 million that died around the world. Even the COVID conspiracy denial talkers on here I hope care about them too. Although it didn't suit their argument of denial so they have to suppress it in their soul and not talk about it. At least I hope that is the reason. Because if they are going to church and praying for the families of those who have died, and then coming on here and elsewhere spreading COVID denial crap, then that is the perfect example of hypocrisy (and is not Christian).

First of all the regular media has been lying for years -- at least 20 plus. Some of us recall many years ago NBC News put a "bomb" on a truck to proove a design defect would make it explode. It's been downhil since then.

Second of all, Biden is all form over substance. He isn't really doing anything. Want to fly last month -- you had to wear a mask. Biden -- executive order that you have to wear a mask on a plane. That accomplishes nothing. Maybe it makes you feel good, but it accomplishes nothing.

About one month ago the vaccines where approved. They have distributed more than 30 million doses. That's about 1 million per day. Biden's plan -- 100 million in 100 days. By my math, that's 1 million a day. In other words, Biden's grand plan is no different that what we are doing today, under Trump policies. But he get's on TV and smiles so it makes you feel good. Again, all form, zero substance.

A real life example here....I live in the boonies of north WI and my wife rec'd her first shot on 12/16. The Phizer vaccine got EUA on Friday 12/11. In those few days that vaccine was being delivered all across the country, but not just distributed, it was being administered. You can see what happened in the next month, even working around two major holidays, 31M doses delivered and 12M doses used.

Look what happened in the 6 days after that, 6M more doses delivered and 5.2M shots given....but we're told the previous administration had no plan, Trump failed they say. You'd have to be an idiot to believe that. Someday someone will do a honest review of the efforts it took to, in less than one year, go from holy shit it's a pandemic!! to administering the shots that'll stop it.

As for the new administration....I have no doubt they'll meet their goal of 100M in 100 days.;)

Creek, you need to cut some slack here. Just on this site, we are constantly being bombarded with complaints about what the "MSM" reports or not. How could the posters know this without paying constant attention to MSM sources? They also purport to be able to predict just what will be reported. Just this morning, some poster forecasted that the MSM would not cover the National Guard rest-break problem. Only a student of the media writ large could make such a prediction. Oops, bad example, it's being widely reported.
Seriously though, the solution (if there is one) to your well-articulated description of the issue is going to take a number of years. I'm optimistic that the public will gradually convert to the notion of valuing truth over lies. But, a lot of damage has been done by both sides over the past couple of decades culminating but certainly not beginning with President Trump. The good news is that the new administration is committed to transparency and hopefully that will last and begin to make a difference. One good sign is how the Fox reporter who pursued the "gotcha" about President Biden having his mask off while on camera at the Lincoln Memorial. I believe the previous administration might well have pulled his credentials and he certainly would have been rage-tweeted at by several including the President.
 
My wife got the Pfizer vaccine. She is young and healthy but sees patients, mostly seniors, so got it early. The day she got the 2nd dose, she started having neck pain and extreme fatigue. She claims it's from "sleeping wrong" but I'm not one for coincidences. It's only been a few days so time will tell. My youngest had a reaction to the flu shot last fall and turned red like a fire hydrant but that only lasted for a few hours, then subsided. Don't let that scare you though :eek:

The problem is that, as late as mid-December, the previous administration promised that 40 million doses, enough to fully vaccinate 20 million, would be available and allocated by 31 December. So, three weeks into the new year they still haven't fulfilled the initial promise.
I believe there has been a prodigious effort so far and am not deriding the Trump administration for lack of effort. They are only guilty of setting unrealistic expectations. The new administration is clearly trying to not make the same mistake. BTW, just because the most recent rate of vaccinations is at the 100M/100D rate, I wouldn't be too sure that will continue. There doesn't seem to be much publicly available info on the actual expected vaccine supply from the manufacturers. There are rumors of short supply starting to crop up. Let's hope we see more transparency around supply before deciding the reasonableness of the goal.
