Covid Deaths Down 90%

Please do point out how this link shows a dramatic drop in hospitalizations.

Meanwhile, here is another source for increased hospitalizations in several states:
Weekend sees record high coronavirus hospitalizations, cases for these states

and those thinking that Fox News is different from the others, are just wrong, and have not caught up to the times. Roger Ailes is gone, Rupert Murdoch is gone, Fox News is run by Lochan Murdoch and I guarantee you that there are regular meetings to try to figure out how to get rid of the conservative editorial evening shows.

Don't forget that Paul Ryan (RINO) sits on the board as well.

The broadcast media (TV, radio, talk-radio, and cable) are all the same but with different viewpoints.

While they interpret events through their own filter and bias, they all want you to buy into who & what you should fear, who and what you should appreciate.

They all prey upon viewers' fears. Their music, graphics, delivery are all designed to get you fearful and reliant upon them to "guide" you.

You watch just one and you get sucked into what they want you to know, not what there is to know.

IMO the best approach is to not watch or listen to the news. Rather, read the news from several outlets. That insulates you from the dramatic, fear-based presentation & programming. It also lets you sort through all the shades of gray that go with every event, every movement, etc.

Just my 2c.

This is so true! The informed people I know read from a variety of sources. (All sources are biased.) They then think all the information they read through to gain their perspective. Those getting news from TV and social media are being given their perspective not generating their own...

What these reports of "new" cases fail to mention is the age group where these positive results are being reporting come from. The age group is 50 and younger, the group with far lower at risk for complication.

Its all fear, hype, and shaping the psychological framework and thus decision making of the weak minded. Sheep. Cattle.

Not in our county and two other counties in WA. The demand for beds is high.
Is all of Washington effected or are there areas of great illness. Reason for asking is we keep out boat in Anicortes and are wondering if we will see this year.

Our county and the one south of us are shown on that map in the medium blue color down near the stste of WA.

It's interesting, and EC's comments and the comments about mask wearing being a farce, the counties around Seattle were the first to be hit hard by COVID. They quickly adopted mask wearing and our kids who live over there tell us tha EVERYONE wears masks. Due to that thoe same counties were among the first to be allowed to move to Phase 2.

Our counties have a very low percentage of people wearing masks and we're still a LONG way from being allowed to move to Phase 2. Yakima county also refuses to wear masks and they have a COVID infection rate that equals the entire state of Colorado. Go figure.

So for my wife and me, we always wear a mask before going into a business. I know many of you disagree with that and figure this whole thing is a hoax, but there seems to be a direct corelation between mask wearing and low COVID numbers.

I figure we're better safe than sorry.

Northern, we're docking at Ilwaco (assuming someone is open) and will be arriving late on the afternoon of the 11th (that's if we have no weather delays) and will be leaving on the morning of the 12th.

If you can hop across the bridge, come pay us a visit. I'll let you know where we'll be docking.

If you feel safer wearing a mask then you should certainly wear them.

I feel perfectly safe and everyone in my family in Fla doesn’t wear them including my 82 year old mother who just had a TAVR procedure.

She, and those in close contact w her had to be tested prior to her surgery.

We were all negative.

Skagit County (where Anacortes is located) is in pretty good shape and is in Phase 2. The counties with current C-19 struggles are on the eastern side of the state.

Well I got a surprise today. We planned on running from Ilwaco to Neah Bay, about 170 miles, but I found out that Neah Bay is closed to transient dockage and their fuel dock is closed. Well that sux.

So we're going to have to run from Ilwaco to Port Angeles, a run of about 210nm. Cruising around 17kts that'll be 12.5 hours. Upping it to 18kts only knocks off a bit under an hour. We might speed that up a bit by a push from the tide. High tide is at 7:34p so we should have a bit of a push once we round Cape Flattery. We'll take all we can get.

Thanks GFC for the invite; but we can not get to US until they open the boarder. We keep boat in Anacortes but live in Calgary.

I listen to Clay Travis almost every morning. He's a sports talk show for those that don't know him. He's been claiming to be dealing only with the raw data and not paying attention to the politically driven summaries provided by most online information sources. He's been saying since day one that this far far less of a problem than portrayed by internet news.

Frankly I don't really know what to believe. It would be a full time job, with lots of overtime, trying to sort through data and come to conclusions myself.

Outkick the Coverage has added writer Jason Whitlock - incredible insight and point of view. Great stuff on that site, versus the fear and ultra-liberal positions pushed on large media sites. Y'all should check it out.

From WA Department of Health:

“Until now, we counted all people who died that tested positive for COVID-19. This method identifies people who had the virus, but fails to tell us whether COVID-19 caused their death… We will change the way we report COVID-19 deaths in two phases. Phase 1 will take place on June 17, and Phase 2 will roll out over the next few weeks.

"Phase 1: Remove deaths where COVID-19 did not contribute to death from our death count. For Phase 1, this will result in seven deaths being removed from our current death count, including two suicides, three homicides, and two overdose deaths (emphasis added)… Additional non-COVID-19 deaths may be removed throughout the course of the COVID-19 outbreak."

Around here people were being counted twice. If they lived in one county but died in a different county they would be counted in each county. They supposedly have fixed that now

Praise The Lord, or whoever you want to! This is good news.

It's good news, but the MSM is totally ignoring it. And the politicians are manipulating data to create a narrative. Watch the local news here, or cable news, and they will have you believing Covid19 is the bubonic plague and everyone is dying.
