I got a courtesy call from MM yesterday asking if there was any recommendations for improvement for the service/sales departments. Overall I have been impressed with MM except a few issues. I feel they resolved most promptly. I think service is going to be MM bread and butter this year versus new boat sales and they want to maintain contact with regular customers. There was a small pitch for contacts of anyone I know looking for a new boat, and they offered incentives, so tough times are hitting close to home. Anyone esle get a courtesy call such as this from your local MM?

You either work for MM or you are getting paid by them. Please no spam on the forum. :smt013

I am a RN in a Cardio/Surgical ICU in a large hospital. I am the farthest thing from a boat salesman. I don't appreciate the assumption Miss Cleo. If I worked for MM I think I would have a larger boat than a 240 DA. You should know that.

Guys I don't work for MM either and have had exceptional service. They (Clearwater MM) have been very responsive, helpful and in many cases competitive with others. Besides the service manager is a Gator alumina!!

MM doesn't call anyone out of the blue to see how you feel. They were really calling to get you do give them money in some fasion whether it be a boat upgrade or service to your boat.

Glad to hear some MM locations have good service. Because they all don't. It has nothing to do with the techs. They are good. They just are so disorganized.

Wow Morpheus that is truly a strange comment from you considering your deep love for all things Marine Max. And what's more surprising is the nerve of a Marine business to call customers looking for.........business? You mean they don't care for me as an individual? Have they no shame?

I got a "courtesy call" from my former MM salesperson last year. It was received less than 24 hours after I completed a Sea Ray survey focused on my MM experience. Unfortunately for MM, I was honest. The facts mame, just the facts. Well maybe a little emotion but it was earned.

The guy didn't have the guts to ask me about the survey at all. I purposely did not mention it to see if he would bring it up. He didn't. He him'd and haw'd for about 10 minutes with nothing to say and then hung up. He's a nice guy but no guts.

My recommendation to him would be ask the customer!!! How else are you going to know how you/your service department screwed up and needs to improve.

WRONG........I had brain surgery 14 months ago and on two, may have been three seperate occasions over that time a rep from MM Gunpowder Cove called me just to see how I was doing.

They have always treated their customers great.........Bill (hackforaliving) probably would back me up on this.

Juslt like mawyatt, I have found great service from the Clearwater MarineMax. I actually went to a local yard once and found their service horrible and their prices higher, so I returned to MarineMax.

Yes I can!

We get exceptional service here and I feel very lucky to count many of the staff at MarineMax our friends. They will go the extra mile for you. That has been our experience here.

I too have been called randomly by someone that I did not recognize from my local dealer to inquire about level of service quality.
