Couple Questions...496 top RPM and where is impeller how to thread?

He guys, having some trouble this weekend with my 05 496 260. Got into some sand and running into over heating issues so i think the impeller is going to need a change. I know there is a 496 impeller change how-to thread but i can not find it...anyone know where it is? Do you think I should be good with just an impeller change or do i need to flush the whole system?

Another issue i've noticed the last month or so is my top speed seems to be way down. Right now I can only hit 37mph on the gauge which is about 4200 rpms. Isnt the 496 suppose to go up to 4800 or so?

Your system should flush itself out. Your Top rpm should be higher (4600-4800) which may be the reason your top speed is lower then it should be.
