If you want to talk about fake news, you need only look at the article you posted. This line is especially interesting:

"Customs and Border Protection has made more than 10 million apprehensions of undocumented migrants trying to cross the southern border since the beginning of the administration."

The media no longer reports the news, they shape perception and that line exempilfies it. Note the use of the word 'apprehension', which makes it appear as if they've been caught and sent back, which isn't the case. The Border Patrol does not use the word apprehension, they use the word 'encounter', and they do so because 98% of the encounters are not turned back. Furthermore, they're not being apprehended, they're being let in. I'll explain:

The only illegals that are being returned to their host country are single Mexican citizens, those with children are allowed to stay. Everybody else is being allowed in, processed, given court dates that, as of now, are in 2029 and released into the US. I say 'allowed in' because that's exactly what is happening. NOBODY is being stopped or turned back from the border except, as noted above, singleMexican citizens. Each and every morning beginning at 06:00 AM, the Border Patrol starts running leased buses to the major gates at the border where illegals are waiting (on the other side) to be picked up. They open the gates, put them on buses and are dropped off at one of several temporary facilities where they are processed and released in the US, sometimes to NGOs that provide the illegals with funds to travel to the city of their choice, but most are released in local parks, bus stations or transportation hubs and they're on their own.. Those buses then return to the gate, pick up another bus load and repeat the procedure all day long until about 20:00. And the process begins again the next day, and the next, and the next. Even the processing is a joke as the BP has no means by which to check an illegal's criminal history as the countries they came from won't porvide the US with the criminal records of their citizens. Murdurers, gang members, rapists, child molesters? We don't know. Unless they have a criminal record in the US, they're being allowed in. Almost forgot, misdemeanors don't count. Only those with felony convictions are being deported.

The BP also has 'picture books' of known Central/Latin American gang tattoos. Used to be when they spotted a gang tattoo on an illegal he was flagged for expedited removal. No more! They're now being let in. I stopped counting how many gang members I've personally seen come over the border and subsequently get released into the US. Used to be that ICE would put ankle tracking devices on illegals that were questionable (i.e. those with gang tattoos). No more! The Biden adminstration stopped that program and now they're just being released into the US.

The vast majority of Border Agents are sitting behind computers all day long processing illegals. The remainder are on the border trying to interdict drug smugglers. If, during their drug interdiction patrols, they come upon illegals trying to cross they are either picked up or directed to one of the gates and told to wait for a pick-up. There's no longer a need for the majority of the BP to be on the border because nobody is trying to sneak in (except Mexicans because they know they'll be returned if they get caught), they just go to one of the major gates and wait to be picked up.

And let’s not forget that the Biden administration is now allowing illegals to fly directly from their home country into one of 46 US airports. Just fill out a form on your phone via a CBP app. Fill out a few lines and BOOM you can come on in. Just report to a CBP office upon your arrival for processing (most don't). They've flown in hundreds of thousands so far. They call it the 'parole program' and its purpose is to alleviate the crisis at the border..Ooops, never mind. There's no crisis at the border as far as Biden is concerned. The added bonus of the 'parole program' also being that BP doesn't report those numbers as border crossers, making it appear as if the number crossing the border illegally is lower than it really is by several hundred thousand.

I will say this again: NOBODY is being prevented from crossing the border. In fact, by opening the gates and taking them in for processing, the current adminsitration is encouraging it and the number of illegals entering grows by the day. That's why, month after month, the BP is breaking records.

At this point, why even bother having a border? And, yes, everything I'm telling you is first hand information. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. I can type for hours on the insanity that is taking place on the border. Alas, I digress.
 
These people have NO SKILLS and NO EDUCATION and NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

There is only one, intentional and obvious reason.

Give them voting rights and create a one party system.

Chris L., Many of us know exactly what you wrote. Nobody is turned back, and we have no idea who almost all of them are. Oh, and almost all are men. This will bite us big time in terms of crime, drugs, and financial catastrophe. The democrat party is willing to do this at this or any cost, I believe simply because as you note, they expect this will be the formula to make the country a one-party state, just as it did in California.

I have great fear for what this mass illegal immigration will do to America, but the dems forget it comes with no guarantee this demographic will always vote for them. Voting demographics do shift.

One of my big frustrations is the "broken immigration system", "congress must pass new laws to solve this" mantra used by both parties. The immigration system is not broken. Right now we have perfectly good laws that do not allow what is happening. They simply are not enforced. That is a law enforcement problem as a direct result of the feds and exec orders.

You are correct in that the overwhelming majority coming in are single males ages from 18-30. And don't discount the voting demographics. Bring the uneducated with no skillset into the country, get them on social welfare programs and then remind them over and over again that the 'evil' Republicans will take away their benefits if elected. You now have a lifelong social welfare receipent who will vote Democrat for fear of losing said benefits..

Crazy thing is these people have more rights than actual citizens. They can get on an airplane and fly anywhere in the country without any ID and bypassing TSA. I can't do that, I have to take my friggin shoes off an pull my laptop out of my backpack. Simply amazing. This country is being systematically destroyed.

He seemed like a Troll from the start. All the talk...more talk.....more talk about random stuff and selectively arguing why he knew things better than anyone else.

Maybe it is because he is old, lonely or has some other set of issues. I don't know but when someone shows up and just wants attention.....it always ends the same.

As to converting a 40' diesel boat to outboards.........a similar thread on THT drew the same questions....."Why?" "No matter how many outboards you hang on the back it is going to run like crap and burn a ton of gas."
