Has or does anyone have on on their boat??
The crew feels the need to have a oven on the boat for summer cruising.. I was going to replace the built in Micro with t micro/convection unit but everyone says they put out too much heat for a built in arrangement. I was thinking about setting it up on top of the refer and putting it in the engine room when not in use so I don't have to look at the damn thing... thoughts??

My crew makes do with a big toaster oven.
It get used alot and sits on top of the fridge when not in use.

My boat has a small Sharp micro/convection combination unit that also has a grilling element, all of those features come in handy when needed with no heat issues. I think SeaRay has been installing those units for a number of years now. Mine is built in but I believe the galley power vent has an intake behind it so it might not work if you can't vent it somehow.

we use one of these it works good for just about anything not just pizza
store it under the sink when not in use

We bought a small convection oven at Costco. I told her that as long as she can store it out of site she can have it. If you have a place to store it they come in handy...
