I have exhausted every effort in locating a hatch cover for the anchor chain locker on this boat.

If anyone has this model boat that is being stored for winter and wouldn't mind removing, I could sure use one as a pattern to fabricate.

I'd be willing to put up some kind of deposit, of course.

Below is a pic of someone's boat in Sarasota, FL. with the hatch that I am talking about

Just askin,

Thanks

Here's what mine looks like now. Last Spring, was cold that morning.

Seein' as that guy has weeds growing in his boat, he probably wouldn't mind [or notice] if you borrowed his !

Try these folks. They advertise they can make any factory hatch. I have never dealt with them, so YMMV.

That thought went through my mind but quickly left as it is in the public marina, Down town Sarasota. I saw it there while I was on vaction. I live 1200 miles away.

You could take some measurements from a similar boat and make one out of Starboard or similar material yourself. A saw, router and drill should about cover the tools required.

it's a simple hatch, some of the earlier ones were not even fiberglass, so you can make one out of starboard real easy. You could even make one from plywood and cover it in fiberglass. I don't think having one as a template would really help much.

Starboard is great stuff. I just replaced the fold up (top) hatch to my cabin with it this season.
The original was long gone and the PO had replaced it with wood which looked like crap. I had a guy make it for me out of the starboard and it looks fantastic.
