hello that would be about 13 to 14 gallons per hour of run time if your genny was half loaded at about 15 gallons at .5 per hour at 1/2 load conservatively speaking what speeds were you running.

believe it or not i run at 2500 rpms at about 24 knots

The Caterpillar fuel tables say your engines should be burning 23.4 gph @ 2400 rpm...........some of the numbers above are not right if your actual is 14 gph. At 2000 rpm, you would burn 14 gph.

i understand but i don't think someones adding fuel to my boat???
it seems low to me too idk

Very different boat, but maybe helpful... My MAN electronics tell me I burn 65 gph at cruise ( 2000 rpm and about 26 knots). My 21.5 kw genset nominally burns 0.5-1.0 gph depending on load. In my 7 years running the boat I have never burned more than 55 gph in actual use. It's usually more like 40 gph. Warm up time, idling out the channel and back, etc. add lots of time at very low fuel burn so it skews the numbers.

i take the numbers from the gallons pumped in the boat

Do you want to trade your boat with me? (Of course, I'd want to do a trial run first.) :)
