Newbie here, 1 year anniversary owner so I decided to give my boat a 1 year birthday present, a wax job. The boat is kept on a lift in south Florida. I'm a seasonal homeowner so it only has 60 hours on it in the first year but since as a new owner, it has a few, let us say, "learning to dock marks" on it, and so besides living in a salt water environment, it seemed like a professional wax/buff job was called for. It's a 260 Sundeck and the Marine Max dealer charges $20/ft, or $520.00 to wax the boat, including the chrome bimini supports. That is not an inconsequential number but my question is if it is typical? That includes someone driving to the house, driving the boat about 3 miles over the water to the dealership and returning it after the service. No charge for that. Also included its annual service and some modifications but my question really centers on the cost of the wax/polish. Can't do it myself as my dock/lift configuration gives me less than 40% coverage of the hull. Looking for advice, comments, criticisms and any other thoughts. Thanks.

Meh! Not a bad price at all! As long as you are happy with the end result, all is good

Same cost as we pay up here so the price seems fair. I have it done every spring.
