cosmetic sink repair

hello all, i have a small burn mark (not too deep, brown, melt) in my sink basin...any way to reduce the look or repair?
also, has anyone used a vinyl repair kit sucessfully? if so, what brand can you recommend

most sinks on searays are fiberglass
if yours is gel-coated inside you can use gel-coat repair kit
