Hello, I have a 2014 250 SLX and the forward bilge pump wire connector (CIG) pin is totally corroded. I cut the wire and bypassed the connector and spliced in a wire connector but would like to get a new male wire pin so I can use the connector. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement wire pin for this type of wire connector. Thanks Stan

I believe those are GM/Delphi Weatherpack terminals/connectors. Try googling for that.

But... from the picture, it doesn't look bad, at all? Maybe just clean it up and use a SMALL amount of dielectric. Or, just us shielded bullet connectors.

Ok thanks for the information. the photo i posted shows the wire with the pin totally missing. so I can't clean it.

You know, I "read" that you said male, but when I looked at the pic, I "saw" female ;) I guess the male part just popped off?

If you're having trouble finding just the pin, just replace the whole connector with whatever you can find. Adhesive shrink butt connector on the splice and you're good.

Thanks so much. I was trying to keep it original. Not sure what size pin connector I need, 14 or 16 gauge?

I'm not sure, just by looking at the pic. But I'd agree that it's defnitely one of those sizes. You owner's manual, in the electrical diagram section, should show you wire size for that circuit, though.

Side bar... don't get too caught up in keeping it 'original' - as long as you do a nice job in the replacement (whatever you decide), it'll be fine. You won't decrease the resale value and (again, as long you do a nice job) you won't scare any customers away. Heck, 95% of buyers would never even look down there.

Why keep the cheap factory error , the besy way is to just hard wire it and seal the connection and keep it above water
Option 2 is to extend the wires so that that dont lay in the bilge water

The DelCity link (provided above) has several styles including the Weatherpack style which seems to match. Hard to be 100% sure given your pictures.

Individual component prices are cheap -- a complete 2-way set will run $3.14 while shipping will hurt much more ($15)

Another option is to visit a local junk yard (pull-a-part) and salvage an entire connector from a GM style vehicle.
