Is Service Manual #28 the correct one for a 2006 Bravo 3-300hp?

Just wanting to be sure.

Thanks for all responses.

It will work but it is the older manual. But since you have a 2004+ drive, you would be better off with Manual #39. It is a 5 or 6 volume set.

If you already bought #28 it will be fine. Otherwise look for a #39

Actually it was on a thumb drive downloaded by the PO. I will not get involved with anything major such as pulling the drive, etc. Do you think it will be OK for the basics? I will keep my eye open for #39 in the meantime.

Thanks,

Yes, you should be fine. I have used my #28 Paperback for some minor up to intermediate level stuff and I have the newer drive like you. #39 sets come up on ebay all the time. Just make sure you get the whole set or you will have to piece it together. I think it is around $120 new from a dealer.

Another question if I might....Am I alright to stick a water hose in the strainers for the gen and A/C for just test purposes?

Thanks.
