Correct prop 1975 SRV 240 HT-prop--Newb needs HELP!

What is the correct prop for the 233hp Merc, 5.7L? I found a chart that says 17" C, but have no clue what that means and cannot find a reference to it. Please, boat veterans, I need an answer sooner than later!

Not a veteran to the outdrive world but my 245 hardtop came with a 16x16. Previous owner said it was all he used. Had no luck with SR support as they had no records of my '81. Anyway it was 260 Mercruiser and Alfa 1 w/ 1.5:1 reduction. WOT is 4400 and will cruise all day 3000. Someone else on here suggested a 15x17 was another choice but brought up the WOT a bit.

I have the same motor in my 1977 SRV 220 weekender I will check tomorrow (5/21/15) when it's light out and see what is on it.

According to the Sea Ray prop chart for 1976, a 24 HT with 233hp used a: 14 - 4 x 17c or sub a 16 x 15c with 4200 max RPM.
