Kinda opposite problem with my cabin fridge from what I commonly see on this forum. It gets cold and runs well on dc, no shore power or generator. When on shore power/ generator power compressor will start to kick and then stop.
This model has external power supply with 120/240 v AC input and 25 v DC output to the BDF 35F Compressor controller. I measured 13.02 volts output from the power supply to the controller when running on house batteries and the frig works great.
When on shore power or genset the out put from the power supply to the controller is 27v. The power supply states 25 v max output.
Do I need a new Bdf 35 controller for about $140 or do you think my problem is the power supply ? It seems the power supply to the controller is adequate so I’m leaning toward the controller. Any advice or further troubleshooting ?
