Is the coolant for my generator different than coolant for my motors? It appears to be a different color. More orange.

We use a 50/50 standard mix on our Westerbeke.. But might want to check with Westerbeke

We use standard car antifreeze... It may not be environmentaly friendly...

I used Toyota Long Life Antifreeze - just because it's red in colour and looks pretty in the accumulation tank next to the red generator!

How's that compare to Dave's? His 580SS is similar in LOA - don't know the weights of each but a bridge boat always gets crappier "mileage" than an express type.
