cool fuel or vst

Recently read a service update from mercruiser #2001-15 regarding new procedures for fogging gasoline efi/mpi engines. they refer to cool fuel or vst models in regard to how long to have engine running w fogging "cocktail". Not sure if year 2000 Horizon 7.4's are cool fuel or vst. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,
I believe you have cool fuel. Vapor seperation tanks were mid 90's (I think). If someone doesn't jump in who knows for sure, you might try going to a site like mercruiserparts.com and pluging in your serial number and see what comes up for your motor.

Thanks Mark. You are correct. I called Mercruiser and they confirmed as you suspected. Hope you have a mild winter. Both my kids are in Buffalo, one at UB and the other at Buffalo State. So far so good. But we all know what can happen. Thanks again for your help.
