The boat has the original 60AMP converter. Boat has two sets of start batteries one for each engine. Does any one know if the original Sea Ray was a dole converter. IE separate charging power to each set of batteries. All the converters I have found on line are 3 head type. If I get one that is 60 AMPs it only will deliver 20 AMPs to each set of batteries. Has any one seen a converter that is just dole head?

House batteries are stand alone ten 6 volt golf batteries that run an inverter (120volt out put) that is also a charger (130AMP output at 12 volts). They get charged when the generator is on.
I have the system set up so the house batteries are charged off the engines when the engine batteries are fully charged. Engines need to be running.
The converter was on the boat when we got it and is original. I added the inverter and house batteries. Original owner had two 12 volt start batteries and a generator star battery.
We use the 12 volt system for head, water pump and 12 volt lights in bathrooms and V birth. Now we have two group 27 deep cycle batters per engine to start and run the 12 volt stuff. Only two of them run the 12 volt system.
When pulling the anchor I tie the two sets of 12 volts together.
