Constant gland adjustments

'90 EC310, twin 340 IB, BW transmissions...when I bought the boat last august, the Starboard packing had to to be sinched after every run of 30 minutes or more...the bilge pump would come on every 5 minutes to cope with the water ingress. After haulout, I replaced the packings on both with graphite impregnated packing, again, the port side is fine, the starboard needs to be adjusted after every run...bent shaft? any ideas?

Unbolt the shaft from the tranny and check alignment.
If its way out, I dont think the packing (wax or GFO) will work.
