I am new to boating and considering purchase of a Sea Ray Select 250 or. It will be used primarily on Lake Erie but also will trailer to New York, Kentucky on occasion. I looked hard at the Yamaha jet boats but I concerned about ability to handle the choppy waters. Also curious to know how you like your boat, build quality, any issues, etc. I would likely opt for the 496. Any feedback about your Sea Ray experience is appreciated.
