Same for me both times. The survey was strictly a structural survey. Compression testing was an additional fee. They did offer to do a visual and get temps and RPM... First buying experience I skipped the compression testing and it was OK. This time around given the condition of the boat and, that the seller already put in a lot of work compression testing was mandatory to me. The fee came out very reasonably at $75 per engine. It took the surveyor a good 45 mins to do it all. Worth the money to me...
Best of luck to you on the boat. Great price and she looks to be really clean!!
