Any comments on these two boats? Both are comparable with V drives, genny, H&A and comparable electronics with the 370 maybe having a little more in the electronics department. Any opinions or advice welcome. Also, I'm going to look at them in person next Friday. Any particulars I should note? Both are priced mid 50's and look to be in great shape. But that is just Internet video and pics so far. Sorry for the duplication ,but not much response in the Newbie Forum. I was hoping for more input here.

I really like the 370 Sundancers. Two people I know had them and both sold them last year. They were real nice boats. If I were looking to move up I would have bought one of them. The friend that owned it offered me a great price on it. Moving up just didn't make sense for me at the time.

We have a 1997 370 Sundancer that we purchased in Oct. 2010
We absolutely love it.
It is our weekend home in the Summer.
It runs Flawlessly. Made the purchase and never looked back.
You would not be sorry, and would appreciate the extra room Vs. the 330.

I owned a 330 for 11 years and thought the boat was absolutely fantastic! I think there are some variables that you have not mentioned-Family size, boating style, engines, etc. Be more than happy to offer comments after you post these factors.

There are just the 2 of us, but we would plan on having other couple for the weekend every once in a while. We mainly want travel around the lake (Lake of the Ozarks) and anchor at different places on various weekend trips. Not a huge amount of traveling the lake, but not staying tied to the slip either. We spend the majority of our summer weekends on the lake. A bigger boat with generator and H/A would extend our boating season. I like the 7.4's with V drives.

Go to the Sport Yacht forum and look at the 340 v 370 thread. You will get a lot of answers. I have owned both the 330 and currently have a 97 370. The latter 90's 370 has a bulkhead wall and door that would be advantageous if you have another couple sleeping overnight for privacy. The 370 mid-cabin berth has more room, as well.

If it is typically just the two of you then the 330 is a fantastic boat. Very easy to handle, good power to weight with the 7.4L engines. True, the 370 has a bulkhead between the master and the salon, although I preferred the open concept of the 330 when I didn't have an extra couple on board. Also, IMO, the 370 is underpowered with the 7.4L, but I do like a little more speed....Good luck on your search!

Both of those are great boats. Sea Ray at their best.
If you are looking at gas boats that age I would suggest shopping freshwater only.

Thanks for the input. The boat was originally from Florida. Not sure how long it was there. From the video and the cooments by the broker, it had very little salt water issues. One snap on the seating was pointed out as corroded and looking in the engine compartment very little rust or corrosion. Really only one bolt on one exhaust manifold but the other EM was changed out. So what is it about changing out the EM? Do they get thin and leak or why do they get changed on older boats? What do you look for?
