FOX is owned by an old Australian (right wing nut) named Rupert Murdock, who is married to a young Chinese woman from Red China (communist) named Wendi Deng...and he co-owns FOX with a weird looking billionaire Saudi prince named Alwaled bin Talal (sunni muslim). These people control what Beck, Hanity, and O'Reilly tell the American people...and that is OK with "so called" conservatives in this country?

The fact that you know who Beck, Hanity, and O'Reilly are is encouraging to me. If you really think that Murdock and his wife "control" them, you still have a ways to go. A better choice of words would be "employ", not "control".

Give Pack a break. He followed instructions and instead of discussions about economics and public policy from The Economist he is on much more comfortable "who's sleeping with whom" ground from the Enquirer.

In the left wing world, this is called embracing diversity....

I think Winston Churchill had it correct when he said:

“If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain.”

To a point also, neither Beck, nor Hannity, nor O'Reilly use a teleprompter, so Fox HQ doesn't tell them to say Sh!t. Unlike dems, conservatives speak from the heart, not what some lacky has written for them on the ol' telley.

Really? They don't use teleprompters on their TV shows?

Ok. . .and what do Beck, Hannity, and O'Reilly have in common? Why yes. . .they are entertainers. Never held political office.

[silly jab = holiday merriment] I guess you don't need a teleprompter when you are just making stuff up as you go. Well. . not really. I think they just make up a few lines, then simply repeat it so often that they have it memorized. Unlike a working chief executive who has to actually focus on a bunch of diverse topics each day [/silly jab]

You mean like the highly skilled, extremely experienced and well accomplished Commander in Chief we call Barack :smt021 [/silly jab] "Present" [/silly jab] lol

OK so they are entertainers like those in dollywood (opps meant hollywood).

If so why are the liberals so scared of them?

I certainly am no more scared of those loons than I am scared of the spiders I see when vacuuming. Of course. . I am not really a liberal.

Why are the hacks on Fox news so scared of a bunch of flakes in Hollywood?

I don't think they are. Watch O'Rielly and Special Report for about 2 weeks, then come back with comments.

Based on what I see, they tend to report both sides pretty well consistantly.

Understand the libertarian thing. There are issues I agree with the libertains too. I thought Stossel's show on the "Politicians' Top 10 Promises Gone Wrong" was an interesting show.

Q: How many union thugs does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Don't be silly; that's not in their contract. <g>
(I have a theory...if every single silly political post of Pack's gets a response focusing on union thugs, I suspect he will tire of the exercise)

Actually Com, I don't think Conservative talk radio hosts use teleprompters. There is definitely some amount of playing to the crowd, but I've listened to both sides and think that the Conservatives at least make a pretense of trying to find some rational middle ground...but that is just anectdotal. As a trending Libertarian, I take them in smaller than recommended doses.
