connecticut marina information please

im purchasing a 2007 310 da that will be delivered to the marina of my choosing in connecticut.

the boat is coming from the cape and the dealer will meet me where ever i choose within reason.
i am bringing it down to long island and ending at west Sayville. so i will be coming around orient point and going inside.
im thinking taking the orient point ferry into new London and grabbing a cab to a local marina would be perfect. the only thought is that the marina would be renting a car to get back to Massachusetts. so if it was close to a car rental agent that would be even better.
Suggestions please? thanks

I can't really understand what you want to accomplish. Why do you have to rent a car to go back to Ma.? If all you need is the name of a marina in New London, I can give that to you. I kept my boat at Thamesport. The Dockmaster's name is Rick. The fuel station is also on their dock....

The car is for the marina people who deliver the boat to Connecticut.
I will come up on ferry and take a taxi to local marina.

Crockers is the closest to the Ferry - you can walk from one to the other in just a few minutes.

I think the car rental is for the salesman who's bringing the boat to Conn from the Cape and needs to get back home.

Exactly -I'm walking on ferry in orient point Long Island and then would like to take a cab to a local marina to meet the sales men. I will pilot boat back to Long Island and sales man would like a rental car to drive home to mass.
