2016 Searay 270 SD w/bravo 3. 210 hrs on boat. Boat ran great last time out, July 4th. Today we take it out and as I throttle up, it would not get on plain. Rpm's jump to 4k but would only go about 10mph. There was no rubber smell or weird vibrations. No shifting issues. Props were clear.

History:
Early this season I hit a small sand bar with the outdrive, at a part of our lake I had never been before while searching for a quiet cove, and bent both props. I assume this may be secondary damage from this event. While we have gone out several times since then after having the props repaired, I'm assuming it's just been a matter of time before this showed it's face.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a damaged coupler? Or are there chances I damaged the cone clutch? I am going to pull the boat from the slip tomorrow morning to start digging. Thank you in advance!

How hard did you hit?

One of the repaired props failed?
Not sure how much vibration that would cause with the B3? It's quite a bit with the B2. Will be interesting to see what you find.

My experience with couplers has been that they go abruptly. The only warning being vibration that's come on gradually, then ZING.

Have you looked at the gear case oil or magnets?
