For those that think they'll pay more under a McCain plan... Please remember that the Democratic led House and Senate would more than insure that nothing gets done the whole four years.

The big fear of NObama is that with a strong Democratic Congress, all sorts of crazy legislation is going to get stuffed down our throats with absolutely no checks and balance.

I thought this was sort of obvious...

Leafy green vegetables give me gas

You're going to have to surrender carbon credits for any methane you release into the atmosphere. It's bad enough with all the cows.

allow multiple votes?

Multiple votes are great! I say we allow the recently deceased, all illegals, foreigners on work visas, pets that are capable of coming on command, cartoon characters and minors who are children of registerd voters to register to vote as well. And while we're at it, we should change the Constitution to allow a citizen from another country to hold the office of President of the United States of America.

We also need to get after our court system. The Supreme Court, in particular has not done enough to create economic justice, at least according to Obama.

Yeah! They should rule the IRS unconstitutional. Firstly the Constitution does not allow for an income tax. Secondly there is argument that the 16th amendment was not properly ratified. What?! The government play games with us over taxes? Never! Finally, why does the majority get to stick a minority of tax payers with most of the bill? Sounds discriminatory!

These kind of obviously partisan threads really make me laugh.

You will all pay more taxes of varying degrees under either administration, and I cant remember the last time any President stuck to any kind of plan that they promised before they were elected, let alone most politicians.

Take charge of yourselves, people. Now. Expect that the economy is going to dive, and expect it will be reborn as always.

Although, really do go on discussing. It is very entertaining. :smt001

The pulled pork sounds awesome. Need that for lunch tomorrow!

The top rate under Reagan went from 70% to 28%. I'd say that certainly seperated him from Carter. Also, in nearly 2 years, Carter couldn't seem to resolve the Iran hostage situation. The simple election of Reagan ended it.

Obama wants to take money from one class of people and DIRECTLY give it to another. He would have left Iraq in failure. I could go on, but I am hoping that you can see there are differences in what happens as a result of elections.

Read the book Reagan: In His Own Hand. It is a collection of his radio talks and speeches given between his governorship and winning the presidency. Then compare that with what he actually did. That's one president. You kids are just too young to remember, I guess.

Best regards,
Frank

There's always a big discrepancy between what presidents say they would like to do, and what actually gets done. My point is that there is still profound differences between presidents.
