Ok , so a long time friend told me to do this instead of antifreeze , I just cant imagine its a proper way , my whole life I have winterized with muffs and AF , but he told me to use compressed air into the block drain ports to blow any water or moisture out of the system , I dont see this method getting all the water out ,and how much pressure can gaskets take ? is there a chance of blowing a gasket ? what are your thoughts ?

I was kinda of wondering the same thing but not for the engine but for all the fresh water systems.
I owned a camper for years and every winter used a compressor to "Blow" all the water out of all the water lines.
Just had to remove the water heater drain plug, put an adapter on the fresh water inlet and use my compressor to blow out all the water.
then put same pink stuff in the drains and was all set for winter.
Why would this not work for a boat?
