Can anyone tell me the brand of compass in a 89 Express Cruiser and what is the best replacement fluid for it...thanks...Bob

My 89 300DA had a Ritchie, it leaked fluid. I just replaced it with a new one, cheap and fast and no need to send it back. Some used alcohol, some used mineral oil, some used a type of clear keroscene. Without knowing whats in the old one, I think you're better off just replacing with a new one, after all, it is 30 years old.
