Comparing 240 to 260 Sundancer

We moved up from a 220DA to a 240DA two years ago and find it suits us just fine. We have limited income and for our uses, this size is perfect. You have to remember that going up in size not only means more $ for acquisition, but higher slip fees, storage fees, insurance, gas, maintenance, etc. If money is not an issue, by all means buy as much boat as you can comfortably afford.

We operate on a tidal river and usually a couple of miles off shore, so we don't encounter heavy seas often. Yes, you do get bounced around a bit, but then I remember my first boat, a 17' Searay runabout, and things don't seem so bad after all.
