Updated with a few new pictures including the synthetic teak floors I put down.

I assume blue is after?

Boy that looks good nice job! How durable is it?
Have not put it back in the water yet I'm laying the synthetic teak on the floors now. It is the good 3M 1080 vinyl so hopefully it holds up.

Looks good. How does it look close up? The ones I have seen seem to show gaps at the cut outs and peel quickly in the sun. The technology is getting better on the wraps though.

I don't have any close up pics just yet but I will soon. I added a 3M seam tape to cover all the edges so that should help with the vinyl shrinking. Last year I did some stripes with a cheep vinyl from amazon and it held up pretty good in the sun.

Looks great in the picture. Would love to see some close up pics as well. Just curious really.

Share more about the process if you're willing??? Sounds kinda cool. I've read about wraps in the past but have never seen anyone post about DIY on a boat. Very cool.

Are you going to cut around the front port light or leave it covered up?

First the background on why I did this. Last year when we got this boat it had the original decals on it and they were faded pretty bad and of course the wife was all about fixing that LOL. So I ordered some really cheep vinyl from amazon and tried doing some simple stripes but after 1 year they faded and shrunk and I decided if I was going to do it I would do it right.

Well let me start out with this is a 2 man job so doing it by myself makes it interesting LOL. First I watched a few videos on YouTube then I researched what vinyl I wanted to use, I asked a few local sign guys and they all recommended the 3M 1080 (they say it should last 7 to 10 years). I bought it from Fellers out of Oklahoma and it was delivered in less then a week. In all the videos I watched they used knifeless tape to cut all the lines so I went with that (Look that stuff up, it is amazing).
The body lines are easy to see so placing the knifeless tape was pretty easy. Once all the prep work is done then you cover with vinyl. I did it in sections since I was doing it myself but with another person I may have tried doing it all in one big piece. Heat gun is a must for fixing all my mistakes (wrinkles, bubbles) but after a few pieces I got better at it.
I did order some clear seam tape to put over all the seams to try to keep water out so hopefully that works.

Hope this helps some. Dan
