Collinite liquid fleet wax

Started applying after buffing. Seems like really greasy. Micro fiber won't wipe off. Seems like my have to buff over again to remove. Any help I did see after I put on said boat should be like warm to touch. Well it wasn't maybe 65 deg

A light coat is all that is needed. And yes, it is very "buttery" when being applied. Once it is dry it should buff off with very little effort.

I had the same effect and didn't like it. I quit using it after one application.

+1 on having great results. Shake it up well, and apply a thin coat. Let it dry... and remove with a towel. I find removing most wax products works better with terrycloth towels than the microfiber ones, but have used both. Used Meguires Flagship cleaner wax with a top coat of collinite liquid wax about 8 times over the course of 4 seasons. Tried the Starbrite with PFTE this time.

yes, it doesn't apply or react like normal wax. Shake it very well and light coats. I have mixed feelings about it compared to say 3M or Meguires. Jury is still out.

Cut with Presta, polish with Starbrite with PTEF and finish with Presta wax with UV protection. Nothing compares IMHO

I've used both the liquid and the paste. I do prefer the paste, but it is a little harder to remove... but then it last longer, too. However, their liquid stuff is very, very nice. But, similar to the paste, if you wait too long to remove it, it's darn near impossible. The trick for their stuff is to let it "just barely" dry, then remove. Do small sections - maybe a few square feet - and then remove it when your fingerprint no longer shows. They also have fantastic customer support if you have specific questions.

Tried it once and like Dennis said, do small sections at a time. I did the whole side of the boat before trying to remove it, wasn't fun getting it off.

I've been using it and like the results, except one thing.. I'm thinking it creates more black streaks..... I usually detail myself but last season didn't have time. Hired someone and whatever they used didnt seem to created as many black streaks..... Anyone else experience this?
