Guys,

I have a very short window of time to get the boat bottom painted. Im putting 2 coats of interlux micron csc over the same in good shape. I know it says to paint in 50 degree plus weather but is there any problems doing it in 40 degree weather other than an extended drying time. Im thinking about doing it tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your help!!

How are you prepping it? I'm about to do the same to my boat in the next week or so, same paint.

Paint is in good shape, Im going to dry sand with 80 grit , wipe clean and 2 coats. 3 coats on the waterline, keel and sharp edges. If I dont sand now the marina wont let me after other boats have taken off their shrink wrap due to the dust.

No, I didnt paint. Weather was a high of 40 during the day and well into the 30's at night. My concern was the texture it might have due to the long drying time. Im still not sure if there would be a problem or not but better safe than sorry. Im painting next weekend.

Thanks. I've got a few other projects...guess I'll see how warm the hull is when I get up there and base my decision on that.
