Any you guys got ideas on a coffee maker to replace the Black and Decker in the cubby hole on a Searay. I'd like one to fit the original location. I don't want to take up space with a counter top model.

Some people go with a French press. Did you check eBay for Black and Decker replacements? I saw one the other day online.

I bought a little Nespresso machine -- compact and uses Nespresso bullets that don't make a mess. And, it's pretty close to *real* coffee, not some dreadful colored water that drips through some filter. :)

Plus, you can order their recycling bags to ship off the used bullets for free.

I second the french press. It's easy to stow and makes one heck of a great cup of coffee. We have both on our boat, and I find that I rarely use the coffee maker anymore because the french press is quicker, easier, and tastes better.

We got a little keurig. No mess. Little fuss. She gets her flavored coffees and I get my dark roast.

+1 Nespresso. Very small and compact and makes a great cup of *real* coffee. :)

We have used a French press for over two years now. My wife swears she will never go back. I takes very little space on the boat and we both love it

Just looked on eBay and there are several vintage Black and Decker Space Savers that are identical to the one used on our 2004 Tiara. I suspect Sea Ray used Space Savers as well at one time. Prices range from $29-$70. Almost cheap enough to take a flyer on one.
