So this has probably been talked about before, so I apologize. I removed the useless Mr. Coffee maker from my galley. It was in a cabinet with a built in cabinet. I can't see any obvious way to remove the inner cabinet. This cabinet is useless, but I don't want to do undo damage.

Asking again. the coffee pot cabinet inside the cabinet takes up space. has anyone taken this cabinet out , and how did you do it?

In our boat, the coffee maker was screwed on its base to a board. The board was screwed into the cabinet by screws under the cabinet. We unscrewed under the cabinet, then lifted the coffee maker up and sort of pried it out and unplugged it. We took the board off the base of the coffee pot and replaced the board in the opening.

Did the same thing as JediJD on our 410. Pretty straightforward, expect unplugging the coffee maker. I couldn't get to the outlet, so I cut the wires, capped them and taped them to the back of the cabinet.

Sorry Mike, I have no first hand knowledge of the setup on a 400DB. Most likely, there are some screws holding it in from the bottom, side or back. Find those screws and you should be all set. As for the 410DA, you need to also remove the microwave to get to the receptacle that the coffee pot is plugged into. Ten minute job (or less).
