I have a 410 Searay Sundancer. The cockpit table is in the engine room, nice for storage but very inconvenient for access. The table is good quality but with that comes weight. I am considering buying a smaller table that would fit into the existing mount and using the standard table post.
Does any one have a suggestion or an alternative choice?

Custom made......

This is one I made for a friend.

It is African and Honduran mahogany with black walnut accents. It is slightly larger than the original. Weight wasn't an issue as the table storage on this boat is beside the helm.

I would caution the op that leaving the table in place all of the time may allow the leg to jam in the deck socket.

I found the table for my 460dancer absolutely useless, too. It was way too small for the cockpit and could really only "dine" 3-4 people. We found a beautiful teak table at a high end gardening store that was outdoor furniture quality, expandable, and not too expensive. Now we can seat 8-10 very comfortably around the table! A fantastic upgrade!

I'm sorry that I don't have a photo to share on my iPad. Let me know if you want to see one and I will send one from my computer.

I purchased this from marineteak recently. Very happy with it.

Great - i will load a pic tonight but this table is the same as mine fro marineteak

I would very much appreciate some photos of your cockpit table, I also think the original is very restrictive

Thanks

Graham

Graham-
I tried to upload photos of the table but there isn't enough space in my account. Shoot me your email please and I will send that way, I guess.

This is a custom table that the I joist company that I buy a lot of I joist from had made for me by a fella in Alabama. These pictures don't really do it justice...it is a real conversation piece. We also made the multi cup holder out of the same material.

Thank you for all the suggestions. They are appreciated. I ended up buying one on ebay for round $60. I had to buy a pole mount for the bottom of the table (also on ebay) for around $14. I don't use it often and I wanted it to be easily stored and be light weight. Any problem you can solve on a boat for under $75 is a victory.

Just go to eBay and in the search field and put in "plastic boat table". There are plenty to pick from.
