Cockpit Sink Gurgles When Toilet Turns On

Occassionally when I turn on the toilet key water will gurgle up and out of the cockpit sink. I don't know what this is (clean water or waste water - I HOPE NOT!). I've check for a clog but found none, made sure the waste tank wasn't full - it wasn't...I can't figure out why this will happen...Any ideas? (2005 260DA)

Are you sure your holding tank vent isn't plugged? What about the vent filter? I've read those can plug if someone has overfilled the holding tank in the past. Just grabbing at straws here.....

Even if you have a "grey water" tank vs sinks that discharge overboard via thru-hull fittings, your head sends it's "contents" to a "Black Water" tank. Two different separate tanks.

The two should never meet IMHO. (Sounds like they share a connection)

It's probably just filling up your ice maker.
