My spray handle is stripped (the plastic bglack nozzle that goes into the chrome fitting) and was wondering how to fix or buy another. It seems this is a custom Sea Ray nozzlle. I tried to install a kitchen spray nozlle from Lowes but the fittings are different.

Jim,

If it is the same as on the 280's (pretty sure it is as I sent Todd (Nehelania, some left over parts I had) it is made in Italy with metric/non plumbing threads. Cost of hose, handle and escution fitting is about $ 120.00. Sorry, don't have better news.

There are a couple of threads from folks who have converted spray handle to a true faucet. You might do a search.

I just replaced my spayer and hose for about $70. The brand is Scandvik, at leat on imeit is and you can visit thier website and locate a dealer near you

We can now judge the markup between parts sourced via Sea Ray Dealer ($ 120) and direct from a manufacturer ($ 70)!

Although the Sea Ray parts we not Scandvik, they are a very reputable brand. CSR just saved you $50!

I replaced my cockpit sprayer with a folding faucet similar to the ShurFlo model from West Marine. I got it on sale for about 30 bucks. It installed in 5 minutes - and I simply connected its male thread to the female thread on the end of the flex hose previously connected to the black sprayer.

We like it much better than the sprayer, which leaked all over the place.

If your nozzle is a Scandvik, you can order directly from them. I ordered a new nozzle a couple of years ago.

It's because you went to Lowe's. Try Home Depot next time.

I bought my sprayer - only - on ebay, for around $22. And I do believe it also came from Flounder Pounder, but not sure.???

ok, bought the right faucet from Flounder Pounder, $35. But it is dripping very slowly. I'm very disappointed. Could it be I got a bad faucet or is this just something to live with.?

thanks to Henry, his bought us some time, but ultimately still leaked.
Thanks again Henry,
But I opted to bite the bullet and install a real faucet.

Scandvik, Inc has an outlet at 423 4th Place, S.W., in Vero Beach, Fl,32962. The phone number there is 772.567.2877. Fax number is 772.567.9113.

I just bought a new shower wand from them. They sell every showerhead and facucet that you can imagine for boats The shower wand cost $47 so a faucet is likely to be somewhere close to that price. Ordered on Friday and had it the following Wednesday.

Should not be dripping.......
Check the "O" rings inside it.

Todd,

I like your faucet. Did you have to change the hose to install this?

Yes, I cut the hose, sruffed in a barbed fitting and voila. Done. works great, swivels and was on clearance at Home Depot

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed to know. Trying to buy just the nozzle from SeaRay, they wanted to sell you the fitting and hose also for over $70.00!
