I am in the process of ordering new snap in cockpit flooring thru our CSR vendor. The problem is that they do not have a template for my 2009 DA. They have a template for a 2007 DA. They will go with that template if I agree to the responsibility of it not being the same. Does any one know for sure if the 2009 and the 2007 are the same. If not I will have to go through the template process.

ALWAYS make a template for youself - even if they had the exact same model. Those templates are in their system due to another boat owner making a template... how do you know they did it right? I know FOR A FACT that they can be wrong. Get their clear plastic dryfit template that has the outline of the carpet on it and lay it down and compare. Make changes with a marker if you need to.

I’m with @Lazy Daze Here, don’t assume anything on a project like that, especially since you’re talking different floor-designs. Some extra work upfront will save you a whole bunch of hassle later!

Thank you both for the feed back. I will do as recommended and supply my own template of my existing flooring. At least if any errors are made they will be my own.

In my last boat a 2000 310Da. I got cockpit snap in carpet from Chorinthian and used their template and it didn't fit at all.

You can make a better template yourself and tighter fitting around the sides and over hatches if you want..... you will be much happier and use their velcro hold downs and get rid of the snaps.
I lifted mine up this weekend and I still havnt removed the sticky paper off the pads yet ....thats two years and its never moved

I did same. Removed the snaps and filled the holes with Marine Tex. The velcro is the only way to go....

Yep, us too, snaps taken out and replaced with Velcro. Love not having the bumps from the snaps.
