All,
I am looking to Upgrade / Swap out the Cockpit Faucet in my 2002 320 DS. Mine is shot and looks like its from the 70s. I was hoping to go stainless, but have also seen some chrome options. Does anyone know the size of the opening on the boat countertop? I see most faucets are for one inch openings and have 1/2 inch hook up for the hose. Does this sound right? Is it a standard opening? I would also appreciate some faucet recommendations with links and pics. Thanks all!

ordered a new one in chrome for my 2002 340. its being shipped now, hope it comes in soon.. and works.

My 2002 410 came with a white Scandvik faucet and matching plastic sink. I wonder if yours is the same.
I've replaced both. The Scandvik faucet number is 10050 for the chrome version of what I had. Frank W. was kind enough to give me the number for the replacement and as with all his info it was dead on. It's an exact replacement in a different finish.
I got the best price from Walmart.com.
I replaced the sink with a stainless version that is also made by Scandvik. That required some very minor alteration with a Dremel and some searching for a matching drain, but it was worth it.

I recently upgraded my cockpit sink an faucet from the stock white sprayer and plastic sink to a stainless sink and single lever fawcet all set into a piece of corian. The sink and fawcet fit their respective openings but connecting the sprayer hose to the the new fawcet was a pita. It took several tries, trips to yen store and ordering parts on line. I was able to connect the fawcet to a standard 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch braided fawcet line available from any hardware store. Conecting the 1/4 inch female to the male hose was the issue. The scandvick hose is not npt standard so I had to find a connector. I am traveling now and do not have access to pictures. I can take some when I return. It was worth the effort because the upgrade makes the boat look less dated.
