cockpit carpet

Hi everyone, i have a 78' SRV 240....and we were wondering if there is an option for replacing that oh so great thick carpet on the ceiling of the cockpit area? has anyone else taken it down and put something different up?

I assume you mean the cabin headliner?

Not a small project, but certainly can be done. There's a few threads on this site by people who have done this. I don't recall the names of the posts, off hand, but you might be able to find them with the search tool.
