Hello All
I have a question, I have a 2005 Sea Ray Sundancer, I am looking to replace the cockpit and cabin lights to convert over to LED. Does anybody know what sizes bulbs they are? Also is there a place on line to purchase them at?

Thanks
TOM

Tom,

Good question. I am also looking for that info. I have a 2004 model 240DA. I have also have a problem that my light is falling behind the hole in the cockpit (the place where your feeds are). So first try to get it in the hole again. I saw also the the light are from attwood.

also, you may want to look in the 'Modifications' forum....many, many post about converting to LED bulbs.....

in my 2002 240DA, all my interior lights were 1141 bulbs (an 1156 style) and I could not find LED's that would work in the sockets - even after reversing the polarity. Maybe you can have better luck

The small courtesy light under the bottom step leading into my cabin was a T10 wedge style base. I bought one in blue with 6 leds from superbrightleds

Finally, the two deck lights I did replace with cool white leds but I forgot what size they were. If I recall, they were an 1157 style base (two elements at bottom) but the trick was I had to go with a shorter length bulb to fit in the light housing. PM me and I will dig up the part number.

Tom,
Since we are both 2005 model years, we may have some common fixtures and bulbs. Here's my write up of what I replaced and with which bulbs.

There is also a lot more discussion building off my experience in the most recent 3-4 pages of the "300 sundancer questions" thread and the "official 280 sundancer" thread.

Hope this helps,
James

I just replaced my cockpit lights in the arch to a West Marine led that are red or white depenidng on your mood. The bonus is they dim as well. I disconnected the lights on the cabin floor ( these are bright enough) $69 I believe and they are made by ocean led. You rotate the bezel to dim them to desired amount of light.
