Coast Guard Renewal or Documentation Fees - Tax Deductible?

Hello All,

Just a quick question into whether Coast Guard Renewal might be tax deductible. I know, the $26.00 hardly seems worth it, but thought I would check. Also, I haven't thought about whether the Documentation Fees (up front) in general might be tax deductible.

As far as personal taxes, I highly doubt it since that is a fee, not a property tax. Kind of like you can deduct property tax paid on a car but not the licensing fee.
