After 1 week out the water, for bottom paint, the CO2 alarms, then began to sound, all of them (3) :smt021

The boat was on the marina, no engines, no generator runing, nothing.

I decided to unplug. after 4 hours, with everything open, Door, hatch, etc., i plug again, but they began to sound.

After two days, same history.

Not one, 3 alarms....

any idea?

I assume you mean the CO alarm. If the CO2 alarm is going off then you would have to quit breathing to stop them from alarming.

Seriously though, usually they are wired in series so if one goes off they all go off. Are they alarming because of CO or are they alarming because of low power? The low power alarm is more of a chirp than an alarm (at least on mine - the xintex models).

I think first you have to decide if the alarm is for CO or CO2? I have never heard of an alarm for CO2? Those alarms go off for low battery power as well! Different sound but equally obnoxious. CO is your most harmful element!!

Is the boat still out of the water?? Is it plugged in (shorepower)? 1st Guess = Low Boat batteries. 2nd Guess = CO in the atmosphere from equipment operating in area (unlikely - but possible if still on the hard). Check your boat batteries - my guess they were left on (fridge(s), etc) while out of the water and the batteries are drained. Are they orig batteries?

Nope, i went to Bimini for 4 days.

My 1st guess was CO in the area, but i let it opened for the day, and after that, same thing

Maybe its the batteries (they work perfect so far), but why they sound when the boat its plugged ? no engines running. different location ( Miami, Aventura and Bimini)
