My cabin CO2 alarm beeps approx. every 60 seconds when battery solenoids switches are in the "energize" position. Could this be an indication that alarm has worn out? Boat is well aired and with engines not running, I don't see why this alarm should be sounding, any ideas?

CO detectors beep when they are at the end of their life which is about 5 years. Replace it.

When mine did that it was an indication of low voltage from batteries

Yes, my error on the Monoxide. Batteries are brand new and fully charged, so I suspect alarm has expired. Any thoughts on who would carry OEM replacement alarm?

Batteries in an overcharged and bubbling state give off hydrogen gas which will excite a CO detector. Just o be sure, if your batteries are new, I'd turn off the convertor and all the 12V breakers except the one powering the CO detector and let the boat sit a while and see if you still get the alarm.

My boat only came with one so when it died I bought two from Home Depot for a fraction of the price. I put one in each of the sleeping ares for piece of mind when I'm running the generator.

This is what I replaced my OEM with. If nothing else, it's peace of mind.

+ 1 on the end of life issue.

+2. They have a 5 year limit and will beep and cannot be reset/overridden when they reach the end of life. I just ordered a replacement for my original Fireboy/xintex from Defender yesterday. The manufacturer lists them on their own website but recommended them as a cheaper reseller (about $30 less but shipping fee). They also said that Amazon is not an authorized dealer for them and you cannot tell the expiration date until you get it (the manufacture and expiration dates are on a label on the alarm horn on the inside).

Defender and Amazon are he same price, but Defender sends it only via UPS Ground for around 9 bucks as it is a restricted shipping item.

The model number is basically the same but the one you order will have a "R" on the end since it is sold Retail whereas the original OEM that came from SeaRay does not have the extra letter. How do I know this? I called customer service from Fireboy/xontex yesterday morning and the were very helpful....

When mine gave it up, I replaced it with a combination co / smoke detector. I replaced 2, when one detector goes into alarm, they both sound an
alarm. I dont know why smoke detectors arent installed on boats, thats crazy.

If a C/O monitor senses enough to alarm (30 ppm) there is ZERO ambiguity!! Not every 60 seconds. They alarm continuously. It is likely the sensor. 5 to 7 year service life. Replace it.

There is no ambiguity here fellows... the chart in the manual clearly explains the LED/beep functions: :smt021
