CLR mold and mildew remover - spray foam

Any of you use the CLR mold and mildew remover. Had a guy telling me about it today, says did a great job for him.
I am always scared of damaging the vinyl with harsh chemicals.
 
I heard the same thing you did and tried it this for the first time. Not impressed. Difficult to put it where you want it. You get a lot of over spray. I had a few places with dark mildew staining that it did not touch. I went back to my old stand by Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover. Spray it on. Wait till the stain is gone and wipe it off. Follow up with your favorite vinyl protector.
 
It's not so much the vinyl that you need to be careful with. It's the stitching, the hardcore cleaning solutions weaken it. There's no one good solution. Starbright works very well. You can also make your own solution using Woolite and lemon juice, and water. We use that on homeowners Sunbriia rollout shades.
