On a closed cooling engine, do the manifolds get exposed to any raw water that would cause scaling / corrosion/ restrictions? Seems the diagram shows no exposure? Dry joint BTW

1/2 closed cooling systems have raw water in the manifolds and risers.

Full closed cooling has anitfreeze inthe manifold and raw water in the riser.
